Our Curriculum - is typical of the Montessori (Casa) method. It encompasses the physical, mental, social and aesthetic development of a child and consists of:      The Exercises of Practical Life Sensorial (activity) Language Arts (English and Mandarin) Mathematics Sciences (Botany, Zoology and Geography)      Music and Movement Art & Craft Cultural units and project related work Social graces Physical development, Sports and sportsmanship To achieve the fullest benefit of Montessori education, we recommend that your child spends at least three academic years with us, so he/she is fully prepared for continuing education. Presentations about the Montessori Method and its use in our classes, is available to parents of enrolled and prospective students, through the year. You are well advised to attend a presentation, before, you consider enrolling your child with us. Please contact us for the schedule. Our Classes - conducted on the principles of the Montessori Method of Education, consist of multi-national children, aged between 2 1/2 - 6 (or pre-primary) in a ratio of one adult to fourteen children. The medium of instruction is bilingual; English and Mandarin. The Montessori Directresses we employ, received their teacher training from the Association Montessori Internationale (AMI) through their affiliated training centres, worldwide. The Mandarin Teachers that we employ, are Early Childhood Education (Mandarin) professionals and registered teachers in Singapore. They co-manage the classes with our Montessori Directresses. The objectives of our Directresses and Mandarin Teachers, are to help your child develop a curiosity for learning, observe, think, wonder and, to be self-motivated in all that he/she does.
