Dragon Knights - Part V

Realizing that Onigmas' powers were getting greater than what he was revealing. The One devised secret tests to see how power he had really become. They knew his power had developed to a point that some of their teachings may no longer be needed. They may only need to teach him how to control his new found abilities and help him keep track of the documentation. Their spells were the only thing left to teach Onigmas, and at the rate they were creating them, it would be a long training process to undertake.
Onigmas' teacher approached him one day and told him he would be starting a new course of studies. He revealed that the One had been developing spells to teach him. There were many spells there archived within the Hall of Knowledge. The only issue was the One could not perform the spells. They were developed in theory and were untested but mentally tried by the One. Onigmas knew at this point he had to spill the beans about his own spell book, the thoughts of it kept crossing his mind, his teach would have sensed it and new of it anyhow. The first step of this new training was to take Onigmas' spell book to the Hall of Knowledge and let the Elders there compare it to their own spells they had developed. Onigmas' spells were all tested and working spells. The One were amazed at Onigmas' abilities. The majority of the spells that they had create were invalidated through the reference of Onigmas' spell book. Their thought of using their spells to train Onigmas were starting to look like a moot point. Onigmas had become a teacher to the One.
With Onigmas' ability to create spells so effectively, it was decided that he would test the rest of the One's spells. He would work with the scholars in creating on spell book and nothing magical would kept secret on either behalf.
Onigmas was relieved he would no longer have to hide his wizardry. He could life the cloak on his magic and share the delights of the creatures he had created. At first the One were not too happy with the development of new species. But soon came to see benefit in their existence.
The One came to Onigmas with a solemn thought. The creatures he had created needed to be free, free to roam the earth. Free to procreate, and colonize as they wish. At first this did not really sit well with Onigmas. These creatures were his friends, he didn't want to let them go. He didn't want to release them to the savages and dangers of the world.
