International Top Tips Arriving in a new country and adapting to a new culture can be daunting at first, trust me I know. There are many things that I wish I’d known as a first year in The Netherlands so I talked to some of our fellow mADE international students to see what advice they would give to their former first year selves. I love that you can go out to bars in trainers and jeans and it’s perfectly acceptable, where i come from you’re expected to dress up, you might not even get in if you’re not. Top Tip: If you want finance, you need a job and if you don’t know the Dutch lingo this can be a pain in the arse.
