At the start of the second study year people begin to wonder. Where should I go for my work placement? Maybe a placement in
the Netherlands? Europe? Or maybe way beyond those borders? Brewed spoke to Thomas Habedank and Sabine Kersten who
both did their work placement abroad. Thomas is currently in Curacao where as Sabine did her work placement in Cape Town,
South Africa. We asked them to share their story with us!

I work at the photo and video department of the Curacao Dolphin Therapy and Research Center (CDTC). The company is located
within the grounds of the Curacao Sea Aquarium Park on the Caribbean island. The official language is Dutch, so that everyone here
can speak and write it, making it confusing sometimes as the island feels more like a southern American country. However, Spanish,
