Feeling
sluggish?
Feeling podgy? Or feeling like
a fat bastard? Let’s be honest,
if someone has told you you’re
looking ‘voluptuous’ after the
holidays, they’re definitely
not talking about your face.
Not only have we stuffed our
faces over Christmas but the
only ‘exercise’ we have done
is walking to the fridge and
back. But fear not, we have
a meal plan that will help you
fight off those sugar cravings
and lose the chub.

Breakfast
32
You know what they say
‘Breakfast is the most important meal of the day’ Well they
probably have a point, there’s
nothing worse than being in
a lecture with your stomach
growling so loud that people
are giving you weird looks.
Recipe: Get up early and
swap the butter smothered
croissants for some plain
quark with honey. If you find
this too tart try a flavoured
quark but watch out for added whole fat yoghurt!
Tip: Sprinkle some unsalted
peanuts or banana on the
top. You can also swap the
honey for some fresh berries
with a pinch of jam. This will
take you a measly five minutes
and will satisfy your sugar
cravings without you feeling
guilty.
Lunch
If you have the luxury of being at home then no excuses,
whack out the eggs and cook
up an easy-peasy omelette.
Recipe: 2 Eggs, a dash of milk
and some salt and pepper
are the basics that will give
you a protein fix. The best
thing about an omelette is you
can put literally anything in it,
leftover meat and veg as well
as cheese and spices.
Tip: Try frying some leftover
chicken in some chilli or Thai
paste with some spinach and
add your egg mix. This will
give you a tasty flavoursome
lunch in minutes.
