Burn-out
In general, much is expected from millennials.
They need to study, party, work, pay debts, be social and still
need to be able to balance everything. All these factors resulted
in this: one out of three students in The Netherlands has a high
chance of having a burn-out. That is 34,6 percent ! To compare; for
the working and healthy public, this is only 14,6 percent.
Financial worries and the work stress of students is very high these
days. There is more pressure for students to succeed or become
successful. Psychosocial problems still seem to be a taboo among
students, the refore they do not get the right help they need
when they are in trouble. But luckily, more students start to
notice when they are feeling overwhelmed. There are
special helplines and websites which can help people
to share their stories.
Fashion milestones
Millennials are seen to be fashionable and have a good taste in
style. Even big fashion brands notice that this generation spends a lot of
time and money in fashion.
The lingerie brand Victoria’s Secret has the biggest and well-known lingerie
fashion show every year. On this year’s edition, they even created a whole
theme called ‘Millennial Nation’ within one of their sportive lingerie
lines called:
