out of the 70. Every wall has
its own story, because of what
happened with the artist, or
the context, or the discussion
caused by it or came even
before the mural’s creation.

What is your favorite graffitti,
Niek?
On Godevaert Montensstraat,
there’s a graffitti with a lion. It’s
done by the Breda based street
artist Zenk One. The story behind
this one is that Godevaert Monten
was a mayor of Breda and he
allegedly lead the charge against
the Spanish invaders with a
couple of citizens and then
scared them off the city.
