Considered as one of the greatest artists that the Rock ‘n’ Roll ever
produced, in his unfortunately short life, Kurt Cobain wanted to change
both his and his fans beliefs. For him, social issues such as bullying and
reproductive rights were in great interest. Kurt Cobain revolutionized
rock and he is a rebellious symbol of Generation X.
Johnny Cash, the man in black! The country star knows the feeling of
having trouble with law better than most. He believed that prisoners
are not monsters, but men who simply made bad decisions. On one of
his famous photos, he shows middle finger in response to a request by a
guard. It was taken by a fellow rebel – Jim Marshall.
The Russian Band – “Pussy Riot” is another group ,which wanted to
express their beliefs through music. They are a feminist protest punk
rock group, supporting feminism, LGBT rights and opposing the Russian
President Vladimir Putin as well as the Russian Orthodox Church.
