What was , according to you , the most exciting thing ?
For me , this was the Grand Canyon and the overall campus experience . The Grand Canyon is so beautiful , it is like a painting which you are part of ! You could choose between different hikes and different levels . I did the Bright Angel Trail which went into the Canyon and I did the fast group as the only girl from the group . The hike was so though , it was a personal victory ! It has made a really big impression on me . When I came back home , I realized how special it was to be able to live the American university life . It is so cool to wake-up in a dorm with your friends and live on a campus . It is definitely like in the movies !
Can you tell us how your solo trip after Flagstaff was ?
After those weeks , I was glad I passed all my exams and could travel further . A lot of students had to go home because they had redo ' s . My tip is to study really , really , really hard so you don ' t have to go home because of a redo . While most of the students were on the flight to Amsterdam I had to catch mine to New York City . It was amazing to celebrate my well-deserved summer here and see all the highlights in the city of my dreams .
Did the trip inspire you to go back to the USA ?
Definitely , YES ! There is still so much I want to see . I would love to go back to the places I already have been and also want to visit all other cities and states . The nature in the USA is beautiful and I really like the overall atmosphere . I am sure I will go back soon !
