Key Events of the period
1963—Responsibility for DCL is transferred to the Minister of
Industry for the 1963-64 fiscal year.
1965—Responsibility for DCL is transferred to the Minister of
National Defence and remains there for 20 years.
1966—DND creates the Regional Construction Engineering
Office structure.
April 28, 1967—Expo 67 opens, right on schedule.
1967—Canadian Forces—and DCL—move from France to
Germany.
