Another designer who has been making her voice loud and clear in the fashion industry is Tracy Reese. The Detroit native headed for New York City in 1982 to attend Parsons School of Design, received an accelerated degree in 1984, and has been in the fashion world ever since. Reese launched her namesake collection in 1996. Her debut showcased feminine, polished pieces and her Fall 2014 collection didn’t shy away from what has become her signature look, but with a more “relaxed” feel.

Reese’s presentation had an aggressive and yet sultry theme. Reese departed from the refined look that she usually sends down the runway. Her current collection had

menswear inspired separates with beautiful dresses that the First Lady is sure to love. She offered laid-back styles like oversized sweaters, glitter loafers, and full skirts. Mally Beauty and Ouidad, who took care of the models’ tresses and makeup, complemented her head-to-toe looks. Reese made the perfect mix to spring her brand forward, but kept her classic style and stayed true to her strong aesthetic.

Tracy Reese and Dom Streater never stopped striving to be part of the industry in which they are currently exploding. They bREAK. THE. bOX. on a daily basis and no one can stop them. Their designs ripped the runway during New York Fashion Week and will be seen everywhere and on everyone sooner thank you can strike a pose!
