Lessons: The lessons are divided into three levels, Basic, Intermediate and Fluent. Basic level has 4 lessons, Intermediate has 8 lessons and Fluent has 8 lessons. Different ways to teach words or sentences are incorporated in lessons to ensure that the user doesn’t get bored. A test is given after every lesson. Once the user takes all the lessons and tests in the level, they would get a certificate. Conversations: A mascot, named Mangy, is included which takes the user through the conversations. In a scenario, Mangy and text (Kannada literation, pronunciation audio and its meaning in English) appears on the screen. The user has to speak the sentence and Mangy would reply. Mangy's replies are also given with English text and Kannada transliteration. Thus, a simulation of real conversation is created. Favourites: The user can also favourite the words that they find difficult or would be using more. The words can be categorized when they favourite them. An option to make a new list or put the word in an existing list is given. The user can select one or more lists to get notification for practice. The word would be displayed with its Kannada transliteration and audio pronunciation. Library: The library has lists of words like days of the week, numbers, vegetables, etc. for quick reference. All the words have audio pronunciation along with meaning. Search: The search gives the word searched for in Kannada and its audio pronunciation along with its variations in usage. 69
