Lisa McCann is a Senior Manager for Avaya , a global provider of business and communications engagement solutions . In her role within the Client Services and Brand Protection team , Lisa leads special pricing discount abuse and gray market investigations globally and has been instrumental in key training and other related initiatives , working closely with sales teams and channel partners . Since beginning her career as an internal audit consultant , she has held various roles related to financial and operational auditing with a focus in sales and other compensation and promotional programs . She joined Avaya in 2014 as part of the Sales Operations team where she held a similar role with primary responsibility for Asia Pacific and Caribbean and Latin America regions . Lisa serves as a Director for AGMA – the Alliance for Gray Market and Counterfeit Abatement – a unique alliance of IP rights holders as members that addresses gray market , counterfeiting , and warranty fraud , and digital IP . She holds a Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Arts - International Business / Spanish degrees from Washington State University . Lisa is also a Certified Public Accountant ( CPA ), Certified Fraud Examiner ( CFE ), and Certified Internal Auditor ( CIA ).
Rich Kaeser is the Vice President of Global Brand Protection at Johnson and Johnson . He leads J & J ’ s enterprise-level brand protection function , with responsibility for combatting illicit trade across all J & J business segments — pharmaceutical , medical device and consumer — and operating companies worldwide . In his 25-year career with J & J , Rich has served in various leadership roles within J & J ’ s medical device segment , including most recently as Vice President of US Sales for Cordis , a maker of interventional cardiovascular and endovascular devices . Other prior commercial roles have included Vice President of Strategic Customer Development for Johnson and Johnson Health Care Systems , and Director of Sales and Marketing for CardioVations , a division of Ethicon . Mr . Kaeser also led Ethicon ’ s renowned Endo-Surgery Institute for two years . In his current role , Rich applies his extensive commercial go-to-market and strategic planning experience toward developing and implementing effective brand protection programs for J & J ’ s patients , consumers and brands . Mr . Kaeser is also the recipient of numerous leadership awards from J & J and has served on several boards , including the American Society for Bariatric Surgery and the Society for Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology . He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the International Anti-Counterfeiting Coalition ( IACC ).
Shaila Vaidya received her PhD in organic chemistry from the University of Southern Mississippi , where she received Dean ’ s Distinguished Outstanding Graduate student award . After graduation , Dr . Vaidya joined DuPont and over the past 29 years has worked in various R & D , application development and quality control and technical marketing roles in the US , Singapore , China and India . She holds over 10 patents and received the distinguished DuPont Corporate Marketing Excellence award . In 2007 she joined the Crop Protection businesses , working on alliance networking , quality assurance / monitoring in Asia and brand protection . Over the past 9 years she has worked with a global anti-counterfeit / brand protection team and now leads the Global Anti-Counterfeit / Brand Protection team for DuPont Crop Protection . Dr . Vaidya was selected January 2016 as a member of the A-CAPP Industry Advisory Board .
Will Demeré is an assistant professor of accountancy at the University of Missouri . He received his PhD in Accounting and Information Systems from Michigan State University and his BS and MS in Accounting and Information Systems from Virginia Tech . Will teaches advanced auditing and risk management , and has previously taught courses in cost and managerial accounting , financial accounting , and information systems . His research focuses on corporate governance , performance evaluation and incentives , human capital , and developing new approaches to measurement . Prior to receiving his PhD , Will worked as an external auditor at Deloitte , and as an Instructor in the Accounting and Information Systems Department at Virginia Tech .
