JAEL RICHARDSON | Artistic Director, FOLD The FOLD uses a three-fold approach to develop a strong literary community in Brampton by informing readers, inspiring writers, and empowering educators. The FOLD is the first Canadian festival to focus on promoting and celebrating diverse authors and stories. By offering a festival of this unique nature in Brampton, the FOLD will do an important work in the Canadian literary community while also reflecting on one of the city’s best attributes -- its cultural diversity. This annual literary festival will develop and grow a strong community of readers and writers that will benefit citizens and employers.
