Introducing 2014’s new opportunity to showcase your club! Beginning in March and
continuing through October members are encouraged to bring a guest on the first
Thursday of each month for a 9 or 18-hole tournament. The Pro Shop will provide a
format enjoyable for both the member member and guest.
Participating members will accrue points each month they participate and each event
will have points and prizes awarded to the winning member and guest team. At the
conclusion of October’s tournament, the member with the most points will be rewarded
a prize of magnanimous proportion. Each month will have a sign-up sheet in the pro
shop that explains the format and the price. This will be a great time for you to bring
out friends as well as potential members to enjoy the course and the competition. The
first round of the Canebrake Cup will be held on Thursday, March 6th with a 2-person
scramble. See the Pro Shop staff for more details.
This year I have returned from the annual PGA
Merchandise show enthusiastic and excited about
the creative monthly events that we will host for
the members, as well as the Canebrake Cup where
members will bring guests and compete for points
and prizes. This year will prove to be one of the
most innovative golf seasons at Canebrake and I
hope you are involved in all that interest you. Please
continue to look at the calendar of upcoming events
in the Pro Shop and sign up for the events that you
want to participate in.

See if you are the LUCKIEST putter at Canebrake. All may enter, but only a
few will prove to be the LUCKIEST! The golf staff will set up a putting contest
on the putting green and players may participate as they arrive or before they
“leaf”.Children 5 and under eat free. Prices above above are subject to sales tax and service charge.
