CINCINNATI CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL MEDICAL CENTER (CCHMC) // LIBERTY PROTON THERAPY CENTER CINCINNATI, OH PROJECT SCOPE + 90,000 SF + $55 Million + Completion in 2016 As an extension of their outpatient cancer treatment program, CCHMC is constructing a new proton facility on their Liberty Campus. The structure will be a 90,000 SF, two-story building, containing a 250 MeV Super Conducting Cyclotron Particle Accelerator to support two clinical gantries and one gantry dedicated to research. The design also includes space to accommodate one future gantry. The clinical program will consist of support MRIs and CT units. Patient treatment scheduled for winter 2016.
