Bristol
Bristol is a big city with a big history. Once Britain’s largest and
richest port, it has now reinvented itself as the home for science,
culture and entertainment in the South West. Both a European
City of the Year and a Centre for Culture, you can see why so many
people call it “home”.
One of the strongest legal markets outside London,
Bristol is home to many South West and national
firms and prides itself on delivering high quality work
in a vibrant legal and business community.
With much of the city’s economy built on the
electronics and aerospace industries, Bristol is also
increasingly being viewed as part of the UK’s dynamic
‘media triangle’ alongside London and Manchester.
The city centre docks - recently redeveloped as a
hotspot for dining and entertainment - provide the
city’s workers with a selection of ways to unwind.
Bristol also boasts great shopping, including
Harvey Nichols, as part of the Cabot Circus shopping
and restaurant area.
