BPP University Business Summer School BPP University Business School is located in the heart of the city within easy access to some of the world’s most famous landmarks such as the Tower of London and the Gherkin. BPP University Business School was formed in 2005 and our aim is to provide you with the practical skills and industry insight that you need to build your career and stay competitive. The Business Summer School programme aims to equip students with an understanding of business practices and principles, develop their English language skills, as well as an Introduction to Reflective Practice as a tool of continuous learning. Scheduled over two weeks the Summer School consists of a mixture of formal teaching, business simulation, cultural visits and a series of lectures from academics and specialists which all aim to give insights into business. 03 – 14 July 2017: Introduction to International Business The two week programme will provide you with an insight in to what it takes to manage and lead a business in the 21st Century. Engaging in groups you will work on a Business Simulation activity, based on ‘real world context’ to help re-inforce student learning. The Business Simulation activity integrates the functional areas of marketing, operations, finance, leadership and management. Within your groups you will plan your strategies and practice making business decisions. You will attend lectures from sector experts and at the end of the project you will prepare and deliver a group presentation to a panel of experts. Tuition Fees £ 1,200 17 – 28 July 2017: Introduction to Entrepreneurship The two week programme will challenge you to recognise and understand the importance of entrepreneurship in a modern business context. Working in groups, you will be guided through the exciting but challenging task of taking an idea to market, growing the business venture and securing a successful exit. You will attend lectures from sector experts and working with other students you will develop a business idea. No prior knowledge of the subject is required – all we ask is that you are interested in developing your own business ideas. Tuition Fees £ 1,200 Students have to be at undergraduate level or above in any discipline with a level of English equivalent to an IELTS of 6.0.
