Make the most of the holidays and attend some or all of the below activities and events. • Healthy Cooking Workshops • Christmas Badge Making • Movie Trip to Roma Cinema • Summer Reading Club • Basketball Competition • Netball Coaching & Umpiring Clinic • Coffee Skills & Food Hygiene • Family Golf Night • Acrobatics Workshop with The Crackup Sisters • Laser Skirmish With a number of affordable activities planned, youngsters across the region are guaranteed to be entertained this holidays! Councillor Peter Flynn, Portfolio Chair for Youth, said offering something for all ages, the program is a great opportunity to experience new activities. “With activities such as acrobatic workshops, sport clinics and a reading club, there is something to cater for all tastes and ages,” Cr Flynn said. Programs containing activity schedules, locations and costs are available from all Council Customer Service Centres and Libraries. You can also check the schedule by viewing the ‘What’s On’ tile in the MyMaranoa App. “I encourage youngsters from pre-school to teens to get involved in this year’s extremely popular program!” With the majority of activities free of charge, parents don’t need to worry about spending a lot of money to entertain the kids.
