Love Yourself So You Can Love Your Sisters
One of the reasons I started both BOSSY! and Boss Moms was to find ways to show love and respect to all the dope women that are constantly amazing and inspiring me. I felt and still feel we don’t always celebrate us enough.
While growing my both my women centered businesses, I have definitely met some amazing, kind and brilliant women. And I’m so grateful for the many women who have been so gracious to me. But I have also realized that a lot of those mean girls from middle and high school have grown up to be even meaner women. And it’s time we check ourselves, sis.
I see though our collective needs go far beyond celebrating each other’s accomplishments. We need to begin to be kinder to one another. Women, especially women of color have historically been a marginalized, low power group and in turn we’ve taken that pain out on each other through in group conflict, and constant criticism
