The Common Sense Association
So I've been seeing a trend as far as relationship advice. I've come across several articles and even an entire seminar on making sure women do not treat their boyfriends like husbands. Don't treat your boyfriend like your husband? Hmmm..the logic did not make sense to the Common Sense Association.
In reading these articles, I saw a familiar theme...a theme of trying to protect one's self from regret. One expert says that a woman will regret cooking and cleaning for her man if he ends up dumping her. Another expert says that if you give up everything to a man, then he will have no incentive to marry you. All the articles suggest that if you hold back certain things that somehow if it all goes bad, you will feel better. Or you won’t feel as bad.
