Tell us some recently events and projects.

Recently I have performed at shows called Feed the Buzz at Muchmores and Spring Wave at Don Pedro's presented by Illustr3us Music Group. I recently shot my my single "Look At Me Now which set to premiere July 19th. I also completed my third album entitled, East Mode which is set to release August 26.

I also have been pitching my film to several directors. I hope to one day bring my film to life.

Lastly I'm working on partnering with host Michael Moon and DJ Puncheon of ill Radio on creating a hip hop festival for local artists. Unfortunately today's radio stations overlook talent within their own cities. We want to provide that platform where their voices can be heard and appreciated.

What do you like most about music and creating it?

What I like most about music is the authentic sound. Between the beats I select and the topics I cover in my music, I know most people can relate to the music. I like to listen and make music about personal experience and raw emotions. I have the ability to express exactly what someone is going through whether good or bad, and connect with them on another level. That to me is powerful.

What is your short term goals?

My short term goals are to become a household name and maybe win a award or two. My mission is to become an advocate for the ghetto, as pain is my motivation. I want to be the first in my neighborhood to reach such platforms through music and as well as film.

What is your long term goals?

My long term goals are to be able to take my record label, Da Formula Entertainment and create and mold other artists for success as well. I want to build my brand and maintain a professional yet respectable reputation. I strive to go platinum several times while traveling the world selling out arenas and touching the fans.

Who is your favorite artist/ producers past or present ?

If you forced me to pick it would be of course be The Notorious B.I.G, Tupac, and Jay-Z. However, I don't like to limit myself with having a favorite artist. I feel there's a certain artist for how you feel at that moment. For example, if I want aggression I will listen to artists like DMX, The Lox, or G-unit. If I want to hear fancy limelight music there's Kanye or Pharrell. If I'm in the mood for a little trap I'll turn on some Future or Migos.

What type of adversity have you had to overcome in your endeavors?

In 2015 I was laid off from my job. I found myself unemployed while trying to provide for my family, and pursuit my music career at the same time. Though I was unemployed for about a year and a half I focused on my song writing and still was able to release my projects. Nevertheless, it was a hard uphill battle to purchase beats, paying for studio time, mixing and mastering, and promotion; all while trying to put food on the table for my family. By the grace of God he listened to my prayers, and I found a well paying corporate job, so now it's a lot easier to accomplish multiple things at once without struggling.

Thus far what is a stand out moment of your career?

A stand out moment in my career was the ability to get my music on top music outlets such as, iTunes, Google Play, Tidal, Pandora, Spotify, Shazam, and many more .

Having random people on my SoundCloud or Twitter showing me love on how a particular song touched them is another stand out moment for me.

There was a time I was walking to the store, and I saw one of my friends singing my song out loud. He simply looked at me and said, " I see you fam keep doing ya thing". This moment alone made me go back home and start writing even more.

How do you stand out among other artist?

My voice allows me to stand out from others. I have a rugged voice that compliments my urban yet classic poetic flow. I get comments from people that my voice is what captured them.

I also have the ability to change my accent and have a little fun in my music because of my Guyanese background.

My level of creativity is another reason. I constantly have new ideas on my mind that will one day be influential and set trends. I am an artist that's not afraid to fail.

Tell us a fact about you

A fact about me is that I started rapping because of a Valentine's Day dance at my junior high school I.S 292. My teacher told us we couldn't attend the Valentine's Day dance if we didn't write a poem to the girls. I asked my mother if I could get money to buy a card so I could take the poem from the card. She flat out told me, "no use my damn brain and think of something yourself". I sat down and wrote what came to my mind, and before you know it I had a whole page written. The next morning at school I read my poem aloud and amazed everyone. From that day on I knew I had the ability write rhymes.

B.O.S.S Code stands for business over social stress. How can you relate with that in your life and career goals?

Many times I have tunnel vision when it comes to my craft, so much that at times it can affect with my personal life. There are times I have to make a choice between household responsibilities verse music career opportunities. I had to do away with all the people who are not serious about me and my music career. I go the saying, "sacrifice makes paradise". My passion for success within the rap industry is not for the fame, but to create a legacy for my love ones and close friends. I'm my own boss who is still learning about the game through trail and error.
