What do you like most about music and creating it?

Thing I like about music is that its timeless. Music will never NEVER go away, because its always evolving, its always moving and its always going to affect people's lives. Artist that can withstand the evolution process, usually comes out on top and thats another I like about music, its competitive. Creating music is something special because its your turn to tell your story, your vision and your feelings. As a producer, our words come in the form of sounds, tempos, counts, bass, kicks, claps. What I like most about creating music, is the chance to tell my story, without saying a word..thats how powerful music is in terms of production, the ability to share my vision without saying a word, thats what I like about creating music.

What is your short term music goal?

simple, to get my first hit record/single. I think thats every producers immediate goal, to land that record that "puts you on" and I'm no different than the next. Also, it would be nice to make an artist album. My beats have made mixtapes for indie artist and even their albums, and been used for a few songs but i'm looking for that mainstream placement. Its going to happen I can feel it.

What is your long term music goal?

Long term, to become a respected producer with a nice track record. I wanna be able to produce for not just major artist, but indie artist and up and coming artist as well. A lot of producers get on and produce for big time artist and thats it. For me, I wanna do it all, I wanna be able to produce for any artist that needs beats, no matter who you are. To bridge the gap and change the game. To be a producer that works with anybody no matter how big or small you are. thats my long term goal

Who is your favorite artist/producers past or present?

Well, I dont have a favorite artist however, I do have a of favorite songs by tons and tons of artist. Producers, I do have a few; Pharell, Dr. Dre, Kanye west, Zaytoven, just to name a few. Those producers have wonderful and great sounds and have tons of artist who wants to work with them. That's what I want, I want that respect. Those producers are well respected and thats something I want.

What type of adversity have you had to overcome in your endeavors?

Getting over doubt. In this music, its gets discouraging when you dont get any answers, any replies or any "clients" since this is a business. Its a daily grind, DAILY. You cant just say "oh, ill do it tomorrow" because another producer is doing it today. Doubt is something that I had to get over. I'm a strong person and nothing really slows me down but, doubt was a huge hurdle I had to overcome.

Thus far what is a stand out moment of your career?

When I heard a record I produced get indie radio play overseas. I was super hyped and excited. That moment I always think about because it made me believe I can actually do this, I can be one of the best, I can make something happen with this. To some people, that would be something small but to me, that was a big thing. That was a few years back, but it showed me that I can actually make my dreams happen. Also when I made this indie artist album (shoutout to Sowfi) it was a few years ago but that was special as well.

How do you stand out among other artist?

I would call my production a breath of fresh air. Everybody is different, everyone is unique. For me, I'm me. You will know what a smoothproducer beat sounds like. I know what I bring to the table and what makes me stand out is i'm more than just a producer, I can move and talk about anything outside of music. I'm a people person, not just an artist, so when we vibing out to beats my personality makes me stand out more.

Tell us a fact about you.

One thing thats a fact, I'm a hard worker. I work hard on everything that I do, Making beats, networking, going to events to network, promoting my social media pages, anything, I work hard and thats a fact. Another fact is i'm very diverse. Sports, gaming, music, relationships anything, I can adapt to my surroundings at will. Another fact, I have some of the most unique beats around, and that is a fact

B.O.S.S Code stands for Business Over Social Stress. How can you relate with that in your life and career goals?

I feel people today (and me included) get so caught up in social media and the drama that they forget that they have to live their lives. Notice how the people that are handling business usually dont be on social media a lot. Yes you have to engage with the fans and what not, but they dont stress over it because they are handling business. With me, its the same. Handle business and your social stress will be reduced because your focus is on becoming something great. To be honest I dont have a lot of social stress because i keep to myself a lot, however i know a few people with talent that suffers from this. Overall, I can relate to the B.O.S.S code because I handle my business.
