Chanel Wright affectionately called Lizzy Chanel, She is more than a manager, she provides the
resources artists crave to take their talent to the next level. Lizzy Chanel has delved into the
production of cultivating musicians into prosperous entertainers by showcasing their creativity
on stage and radio. Her musical background is Hip Hop, Rhythm & Blues, and all genres in
between (Neo-Soul, Pop, etc.).
“My goal is to be there for the people who have the ability to succeed and give [them] their
spotlight [that] way they can branch their own talent”.
Under the Lizzy Chanel brand, she has compiled a series of concerts entitled “Rock the Stage
Part I and Part II”. A native of Harlem, she chooses venues and artist that represent the
Renaissance of her beloved home. As a producer she is responsible for all the nuts and bolts of
putting on a good show. From booking performers, to managing event budgets, Lizzy Chanel is
multitalented in her own right. She is already in the making of producing her third installment to
the “Rock the Stage” concert series in late 2016.
Lizzy Chanel is also the product manager for the online and in-store shop called Munchees
clothing line. Celebrities such as Snoop Dogg [Lion], Onyx, WebStar, Murda Mook, Smoke
Dza, as well as others, have donned the stylish t-shirts and hats. Lizzy Chanel is well on her way
to becoming her own boss by taking a personal and detailed approach to her clientele and her
audiences.
Just when you think her plate is full, Lizzy Chanel (and artists) are also featured on a weekly,
online radio show called “The Lizzy Chanel and Friends Show", hosted by Damatrix Studio.
Every Tuesday night at 9:00pm-10:00pm you can tune in to watch or listen to some of the illest
up and coming musicians, rappers and singers. She states, “I take pride in performing my duties
in a timely fashion… I have to gain control of my own spotlight and continue to uplift myself as
well”.
In addition to producing concerts, showcasing talent on live radio, and managing a clothing line,
Lizzy Chanel understands the importance of giving back and joined a non-profit organization
called “I Will Graduate”. The program, is inspired to gear toward the youth to inspire them to
complete school and aim for higher education. It is a drop-out prevention program that
encourages youth to graduate. She is passionate about “I Will Graduate” it’s a after-school
activities program that consist of Dance Club, Journalism Club, Y-Rap, Drumline and more.
