What inspired you to design clothing for plus size women? My inspiration comes from having difficulties finding clothing that is sexy and fits the curves properly.
Do you feel you are helping empower women of all sizes? Yes I do, even though I have a plus size clothing line I empower all women to work hard towards all their goals and to achieve them to the best of their ability. Me as a woman first many women look to me as a voice for them.
Has this been a difficult industry? Yes and no! Yes because there is other competition but you can not let that steer you from your dream and your passion. No because even though there are many designers we all have our own styles and have a certain niche that we are catering to.
What would you say is your favorite design:? I would have to say my signature dress that is red & yellow the colors of 1246 logo. That dress says exactly who I am. Very unique and classy!
What is your short term business goal? To create more amazing designs and to take 1246 to many different cities and states for fashion shows.
What is your long term business goals? To build a empire opening up numerous stores in different states and going international.

Do you have any advice for others who desire to design clothing? Work hard towards your dre as ms and never let anyone tell you that you can not do it. Always believe in yourself when nobody else does.
