Aguai Diffuser is South America’s tenth since 2008
Bosch Projects and Brazilian partner, Dedini, recently
completed construction on a 500tch Chainless Diffuser for
the Aguai sugar factory in Bolivia. The order was first placed
in 2010 and Bosch Projects designed the diffuser using the
extensive knowledge of South American requirements that
they have accumulated since 2007.
Construction activities came to an end in May 2013 and
Bosch Projects engineer, Ian Clark, was in attendance during
the commissioning of the diffuser. According to Clark the
commissioning process went very well. “We were happy with
the end result and the process was completed in a timely and
efficient fashion. We are very proud of the teams from Dedini
and Bosch Projects who undertook this project,” Clark said.

Aguai and Guabira are two sugar factories in the same
group, both in the Santa Cruz region of Bolivia. Director for
Sugar Equipment, Ivan Voigt first visited the group in 2007 to
promote the installation of the Chainless Diffuser. This is the
10th Chainless Diffuser in operation in South America since
2008, fruits of the partnership between Dedini and Bosch
Projects.
