15 Bosch Projects welcomes Grant York to JHB branch Bosch Projects recently appointed Grant York to their Johannesburg office as Senior Project Manager. Grant will also be assisting Business Development Director, Guy Perrins, to grow the Johannesburg business. Grant has a BSc (Hons.) Aeronautical Engineering and Graduate Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. He brings to the table a wealth of experience in project management, engineering management, bulk materials handling (specifically conveyor design and commissioning) and mechanical services design within the mining industry. Grant’s career began with DaimlerChrysler where he worked as a quality engineer building the (then) new C-class, after which he joined Demcotech, an engineering firm that specialises in overland conveying systems. His career then took him to Fox Projects, where he worked his way up from a mechanical engineer on various mining projects to project managing feasibility studies for their platinum mining clients. He later became the engineering manager controlling the company’s engineering resources across all disciplines and projects. Perrins says, “Grant’s contacts and experience within the African mining industry will give the Bosch Johannesburg office exposure to new opportunities and clientele and we are pleased to have him as part of the Bosch team.” [email protected] Bosch Golf Day The Bosch Annual Golf Day for Clients and other stakeholders was held at the Mount Edgecombe Country Club on Friday, 2nd August.
