The project commenced in 2012 and, in addition to undertaking the design, Bosch Projects was required to provide assistance during the construction and commissioning of three 25tph sugar conditioning silos at MPV sugar mill on behalf of Wellman Co Ltd. Each silo has a maximum storage/conditioning capacity of 1 650 tons sugar. The design scope also includes the sugar towers with the infeed and outfeed conveyors and the air conditioning plant with the plant control system. These conditioning silos are part of a new sugar refinery and packing station constructed by MPV. MPV sugar mill is located 45km from Khon Kaen in northeast Thailand and is part of the Mitr Pohl Sugar Corporation that has been described as Thailand’s and Asia’s biggest sugar and bioenergy producer. Commissioning was completed in early March 2014. [email protected] Top: Inside one of the conditioning silos Left: The newly constructed conditioning silos at MPV mill
