Bosch Stemele’s self-build power plan to supply
Eastern Cape water projects

self-build electrical power supply points.
Bosch Stemele, on behalf of the Chris Hani District Municipality,
innovatively proposed and subsequently attained approvals
from Eskom to self-build an electrical power supply to the
existing water backlog projects located in Engcobo, Eastern
Cape.
Bosch Stemele Project Director, Andre Naudé, describes major
challenges as being the severely restricted terrain with the
project area spanning over 650kms.
When complete the project will ultimately supply 19,000
villagers with safe potable water.
