Young Professionals of Bosch Projects shine at FIDIC-GAMA Conference
The 24th Annual FIDIC-GAMA Conference was hosted by CESA at the Cape Town International Convention Centre from 7 to 10 May 2017 .
The Bosch Projects Young Professionals in attendance were Abimbola Olukunle , Werner Küsel and Jeshika Ramchund . We are most proud that our very own Jeshika has been appointed Chair of the GAMA YPF ( Group of African Member Associations ’ Young Professionals Forum ), following a two-year stint in the capacity of deputy to the outgoing President , who hails from Ghana . In her new capacity as President , Jeshika worked tirelessly throughout the conference at her duties , which included working committee and secretariat , MC at the Colour Night merriment held at the vibrant Gold Restaurant , located at the renowned V & A Waterfront . On the second and last day of the formal conference Jeshika also presented a thought provoking paper , which challenged consulting engineers to adapt to the digital age or they may very well get left behind . She is of the opinion that in order to deal with adapting to the digital age will require cultural transformation , embracing new technologies and preparing for innovation . This begins from the top of the organisation .
Jeshika is certainly flying the Bosch Projects flag with great honour .

Bosch Holdings in fine form at FIDIC-GAMA Conference
With the GAMA theme being : “ Creating Partnerships for Sustainable Development ”, Bosch Holdings was keen to participate actively and to interact with peer firms from across the African continent . As one of the sponsors of the conference , we proudly mounted the exhibition stand of Bosch Projects , which was prominent and enjoyed pride of place for the full duration of the conference . Furthermore Bosch Capital participated in the session on “ Project Financing ”, represented by Chris Baloyi in his capacity as the incoming Managing Director of Bosch Capital . Well done to Chris on his valued contribution to the panel , on his very first day on the job at Bosch Capital .
