Participants sought for Partners in Care co-design programme By Averil Boon Quality & Patient Safety – Programme Manager. Using patient and staff experience to co-design better healthcare services is the goal of the Partners in Care programme. We will be running the seven-month Health Quality & Safety Commission (HQSC) programme over 2017/18, beginning in September, and we are seeking staff to take part. Partners in Care is about identifying opportunities to improve services, moving this to a project phase and having patients and their feedback as an integral part of that process. Patients have a unique viewpoint and can provide valuable input on how services can be improved, where priorities should be set, and where quality issues have arisen in the delivery of health services. What is Partners in Care and how can you take part? • The seven-month programme begins on Tuesday 12 September, 2017. • The programme is based on the Experience Based Design approach (EBD), developed by the National Health Service in England and uses patient and staff experience to design better healthcare services.
