New doctors on campus This month we welcome 27 new faces, fresh out of Otago and Auckland Medical schools. The Interns who’ve chosen to start their careers at the BOPDHB are set to be here for two years. In their first year they will work 13 week rotations across most specialities as they work towards gaining full registration. Six interns have started working at Whakatāne Hospital.
