MEN’S
6 Tips That Will Help You
Smell Better
T
he one thing that is a huge turn-off for all women
is surely the problem of body odour and sweat.
While you are being perfect in front of the girl
looking all prim and proper, groomed and styled, body
sweat is something that can ruin it all for you and the girl.
Those arm pit patches because of the sweat can totally
take away all the attention from that crisp white shirt you
were wearing to impress her. Sweating is a natural way
of the body to cool off. You sweat when it’s hot, when
you exercise or play a sport, and when you are stressed,
nervous or excited. While sweating is something that is
not under your control and is a natural tendency, you
can always trick the situation in your favour by some
easy remedies and tips.
What Causes Body Odour?
When the sweat on your body (which is itself odourless) comes in contact with the bacteria on your skin, it
causes smell, that is, body odour.
People who are obese, those who regularly eat spicy
foods, as well as individuals with certain medical conditions, such as diabetes, are more susceptible to having
body odour.
How To Smell Better
1. Daily Shower With An Antibacterial Soap
Bacteria on the skin causes body odour, which is why
you need to shower daily with an antibacterial soap
which will reduce the growth of bacteria on the skin.
2. Antiperspirant Sprays For The Kill
Antiperspirant deodorants include aluminium chloride
salts that dissolve into sweat, forming a gel that creates
a mask on the sweat gland that helps reduce sweat.
3. Fabric Of The Clothes You Wear Matter
Natural fabrics like silk, wool or cotton help your skin
breathe better which means your sweat will evaporate
quicker. Wear them often!
4. Let Your Armpits Be Clean At All Times
Hair on the body in general means more sweat and if
you continue to have hairy armpits as well, you will definitely smell really bad. Clean them regularly to prevent
sweating and body odour. As a bonus advice, we recommend you wearing a t-shirt under the shirt in order to
avoid sweat patches on the shirt.
5. Not Rubbing Wrists After Applying Cologne Will Let It
Stay For Long
Rubbing your wrists against each other after applying
cologne will make the top layer of the cologne disappear
leaving only the medium and base layer. This will make
the fragrance last for a very little period.
6. Alternate Between Shoes And Wear New Socks Daily
Wearing the same pair of shoes for days consecutively
will make the smell and sweat of your feet stay in them.
Let them dry for a day while you wear the alternate pair.
Also, clean socks which allow free evaporation of sweat
is always recommended for sweaty feet.
