Who are your favorite authors , and how do they inspire & influence your work ?
William Shakespeare , Stephenie Meyer , Veronica Rossi , Lorin Oberweger , Sylvia Day , Christina Lauren ( Christina Hobbs and Lauren Billings ), John Green ... there ' s a lot . I love different genres , too , depending on the story . Although I would have to say , I love the combination of smart and witty when it comes to romance ... add a little suspense and mystery , and that ' s definitely going on my TBR list . These authors have influenced me in the most positive way . Sometimes when I ' m not convinced by the way they flip situations , I would make my own . So basically , they challenge me .

What do you feel was the hardest part of writing and how do you deal with it ?
I don ’ t just want readers to view my characters as characters . I want the m to be known as people who are very much alive . When I was writing Beautifully Burned , I knew I didn ’ t just want to progress with Thia or Mason , it had to be the both of them . Usually , when I feel like my mind is out of sync , I take a break and listen to songs that are very much related to where I paused the story , or travel to places to look for inspiration .
