Being the youngest in a family of six kids
has its advantages and disadvantages. Perhaps
the greatest advantage is that you learn to grow
up very quickly, and by ‘growing up’ I mean that
you learn how to read people, assess situations
and run for cover. I’ve already confessed that in
the beginning I was not particularly skilled in
these areas of personal development, but boy oh
boy did I learn, and learn fast.
As I think back on my childhood development now, there are scenes and situations that
come back to me which still amaze me… and
there are some which still make me shake my
head in grim astonishment. But the memories
