The National Youth Writers To
Published Authors Leadership Program
As a published author who began writing since adolescence, I am thrilled to be part of
an exciting era such as this – our next generation of authors! Everyone has a story to tell.
However, not everyone has the skills and support they need to tell that story. The National
Youth Writers to Published Authors Leadership Program (NYWPA) is a series of seminars
designed to turn young writers into published authors. We are here to develop a new
generation of young authors and literary professionals. Designed by New York Times bestselling author, James L. King, our program will foster an environment where students will learn
to articulate their thoughts and emotions. It will motivate, stimulate and expose students to
higher levels of creative writing.
We are proud to bring this program to our youth to eliminate bad writing habits and to develop awareness of strengths
and weaknesses. We will guide them to discovering their voice in a secure environment, where obstacles are overcome while
having fun. We are pleased to bring this wonderful opportunity to unleash the imagination of our youth and expose them to a
multi-billion dollar publishing industry.
