D. Kevin McNeir is an award-winning journalist, theologian and vocalist born and raised in
Detroit. He recently stepped down from his position as the senior editor of The Miami Times
in order to help his ailing parents in Virginia and to launch his own media-consulting firm.
Kevin continues to write for newspapers and websites across the U.S. and is completing his
first book entitled “Growing Up Motown: When Detroit Was A Little Like Heaven.”
