STRICTLY TWEENS
Thinking what to reply back to her, I stopped and thought to myself, which
is more important Arika, caring what everyone thinks about me or having
the power to do something about it. I texted my aunt and told her, yes you
can post it. The next morning, I woke up with a bunch of text and phone
calls saying how much God’s message influenced them. I also saw that over
3 thousand people viewed my video. It blew my mind. Getting rid of all the
negative thoughts and stepping out of my comfort zone lead me to spread
God’s message, which I believe with all my heart. I am not saying that getting
out of your comfort zone is easy, but sometimes we have to take a leap of
faith. When you try a new sport for the first time, you learn how to play the
game and practice it over and over again until you feel confident. Now that
I have gotten out my comfort zone, I have been finding myself doing it every
day! Recently I started doing makeup videos I never thought I could do be-
cause of fear. Now I enjoy posting them and having fun with them. What is
your fear? I know you have one. Now tell me what you can do to start facing
your fears. Give me ways that you can slowly start overcoming your fear be-
cause I know you can! You know you can too! I want YOU to start right now.
It does not have to be big, but once we start overcoming challenges, looking
back you’re going to think why did I wait this long? Are you ready?! Let’s
look fear right in the eye and say not today; I am an overcomer!

there is something
