Star Wars Day at the Toowoomba City Library
Feel the force and prepare for an epic day of Star Wars on Saturday , 14 January at the Toowoomba City Library , 9.30-2pm . Bring your family of troopers down for free face painting , Star Wars themed craft bar , Star Wars themed escape room , scavenger hunt , photo booth and gaming . Special appearance by the 501 st Legion and the Rebel Legion .

Join us for an intensive learn to swim and kids ’ active program ! Running over the school holidays from 9-20 January 2017 at Milne Bay and Highfields Fitness and Recreation Centres .
Movie by the pool
Come along to our movie by the pool on Saturday 14 January . We ’ ll be showing the family-friendly ‘ Norm of the North ’. Doors open at 6.30pm for a 7pm start . Tickets can be pre-purchased at Milne Bay Aquatic and Fitness Centre for $ 30 for a family , $ 10 for adults , or $ 8 for a child .
Swim Carnival time at Milne Bay
During February and early March , Milne Bay Aquatic Centre plays host to many school and club swimming carnivals throughout the weekdays and several weekends . To all competitors ‘ Good luck and have fun !’ * Note that the 50-metre pool closes to the public during these events .

QAGOMA ’ s Kids on Tour 2017 – The Gabori Sisters : Gathering By the Sea will celebrate the creative legacy of Sally Gabori and the work of her three daughters Elsie , Amanda and Dorothy Gabori . Regional audiences will have the opportunity to go on a journey to the artists ’ homeland of Bentinck Island in Queensland ’ s Gulf of Carpentaria .
