AS WE ROLL INTO 2020 WE HAVE A
MIXED BAG OF PROJECTS IN STORE FOR
THE WINTER AND EARLY SPRING
We closed out the year with a lingering snowfall followed by
near record high temperatures during the week of Christmas.
The golf course remains in very playable condition throughout
the winter months. Greens continued to be mowed as needed
and bunkers raked on occasion. The bulk of leaf cleanup has
been completed; only oak trees have a thin coat hanging on.
Winter maintenance of landscape beds and cutting of tall grass
plants continue on into the new year. The waterfall has been
winterized for the season and we also completed winterizing
our irrigation system too. A large air compressor was hooked
up to our pump station to aid in blowing all the water out of our
irrigation lines. Some miscellaneous clearing has begun along
some borders of our property lines. This will help with blind
spots while driving and improve aesthetics.
