Hard to believe that spring is almost here! It has been a very long and eventful winter. Precipitation continued to come in waves. Rain, snow, sleet and freezing rain has been a constant sight dating all the way back to November. This moisture made things really difficult for us out on the golf course. Many snow events also kept the course closed for extended periods of time. But despite the gruesome weather the golf course maintenance staff has stayed busy. Many improvements have been made around the property and also at our maintenance facility. It's easy to say we are ready for some dry and warm weather though!

The bunker project has been at a standstill for over a month. We only have four bunkers to complete once the ground dries out. Newly renovated bunkers look amazing and we are excited to be so close to finishing this huge overhauling! Dump areas will still need to be shaped and seeded in the spring. A new pump station was installed last month! The old pump station was aged and narrowing in on the end of its life expectancy of 30 years. This station is responsible for distributing water throughout the entire property through irrigation lines. Last year we pumped nearly 15 million gallons of water onto the golf course!
