Dear Bogey Hills Members:
The sun is finally shining, the pool is open, and the course is dry! June brings a lot of activity here at the Club.
We start with the opening of the pool! The pool hours are posted in the newsletter and on the website. Please make sure you bring your pool card for entry through the attendant at the gate this year. Also show the card to your server for correct billing. A reminder no outside food & beverage is allowed in the pool. A new hour of operation will be adult lap time. This will begin at 8am till 9am Tuesday thru Friday ages 18 years and up. The goal is for members to have lap time prior to the pool filling for recreation use. Please note that a lifeguard will not be on duty at that time. There are a lot of activities planned for the pool this season so keep an eye out for alerts and flyers.
June is also a busy month on the golf course. The Bogey Hills Derby will take place the first weekend of the month. If you have not watched this event come on out and watch the male/female teams compete in an alternate shot format with eliminations. The second Friday of June is our couple’s nine-n-dine. This is a great way to meet other couples or maybe bring a guest who is interested in joining the Club. Mid-month we will be hosting our Ladies Member Guest and the Heritage Tournament which is the men’s member guest. The committee’s have been working hard on making these events fun for our member’s and their guests. Lot’s of activity in June for golf so be sure to check in with the golf shop for any questions.
Chad and his crew have been playing a lot of catch up on the course from all the May showers. They are staying on top of the mowing of roughs, fairways and greens. Jeny, the horticulturist has been planting away so we should begin to see some color out there.
I am looking forward to playing some golf and seeing everyone in the Clubhouse and at the pool.
