“The sun was warm but the wind was chill. You know how it is with an April day.”

--Robert Frost

Dear Bogey Hills Members:

The warmer weather is approaching which means more activity at the club.

I would like to thank all the members who took the time to fill out the survey. We received a lot of positive feedback, which has been shared with all the department heads. Chef Jay has reviewed all the food comments, Chris has reviewed all the beverage and service comments, Neely has reviewed all the pro shop comments and I have reviewed them all. We are going thru the suggestions and will be making some changes in the coming months.

April kicks-off member activities beginning with the adult Easter egg hunt, followed by Easter Brunch and the golf kick-off tournament. Leagues will begin the first part of May so be sure to read the newsletter for all the upcoming events. We are adding new events as well as tweaking some favorites. Reservations are always appreciated.

A new member of the Bogey Hills family is Seaman the dog. He will be located next to the flag pole in the main parking lot. Seaman is the famous Newfoundland that helped Lewis and Clark on their expedition. You will see him throughout the City of St. Charles in celebration of the city’s 250 years, and we are delighted to have him a part of Bogey Hills. Our very own member, Carla Van Meter, painted Seaman with tees, golf balls, flag sticks and our logo. Thank you, Carla, for all your hard work to make Seaman special to Bogey Hills.

The pool interior renovation has begun. The interior pool lights have been repaired and the baby pool and main pool will begin the resurfacing process soon! Pool season is fast approaching, and we are excited about all the new activities we have planned for this season.

I look forward to seeing you all at the club.
