Q: Tell us about your fashion brand
Influential Petite.
Influential Petite is a resource for
petite women to help them look and
feel empowered. Most petite women
struggle with finding clothes that
truly fit their body types. My job is to
take the hassle out of petite women
spending extra money for tailoring
and alterations and instead provide
them with alternative options such
as DIY ways to enhance their per-
sonal style. We also provide boutique

Q: Did you always know you want-
ed a career in fashion, and who are
some of your early inspirations?
I’ve always loved fashion, but I never
for one second thought that I’d be
passionately pursuing a full-time
career in the fashion industry. The
journey began right after college
when I started to work full time. I
would receive compliments at work
about my attire on a daily basis, to
dressing my co-workers for their
social events, to deciding this is
something I truly love doing, so why
not give it a shot and see where it
takes me.
Q: Spring is here! What’s hot for the
season?
Floral dresses are in this season, and
really good to wear for any occasion,
including work, casual wear, and af-
ter 5. Wear them with heels or tennis
shoes. Either way, you will still look
fly.
