"A good way to start working on your Blythe is to draw the expression you would like her to have on the face plate. You can start by lightly sanding the face so you can use a pencil to draw the details: the shape of the upper and bottom lips, even the philtrum, and mark the zones of the mouth where you want to have the most volume. This will also help you see the symmetry of your work."

Tip:

"The right way to pull your doll's pullstrings to change her eyes is to pull them back instead of down. Hold your doll straight and pull the string completely perpendicular to her body! You will see how much easier it is and it strains the eye mechanism a lot less."
