Your Partner in Behavioral Healthcare – Y O U A R E Established in March 2010, this state-of-the- art center located at the foot of beautiful East River Mountain in Bluefield, West Virginia, offers advanced programming and services for the treatment of psychiatric illness. N The Pavilion has inpatient programming with 64-bed capacity. These beds comprise three separate units – a 30-bed geriatric unit, a 24-bed general adult unit, and a 10-bed psychiatric intensive care unit. The facility has a layout that is thoughtfully designed and patient-friendly. As a result of the three separate units, they have the ability to deliver patient care in an environment that best meets the treatment needs of each patient and the diverse population that is served. O T A L O N E – Treatment Each patient will receive his or her own treatment plan that creates a path to recovery and includes a discharge plan focused on maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Group and individual therapy are components of the treatment plan that promotes patient participation on a variety of needs including medication management, coping skills, depression, grief, loss, anxiety, anger or life changes. We are excited to offer patients a continuum of both inpatient and outpatient care and ease of access to treatment services from admission through discharge. We value the opportunity to enhance the lifestyle of the adult and older adult population in our region. New Technology Now available at The Pavilion, Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) is a non-invasive outpatient procedure that uses magnetic fields to stimulate nerve cells in the brain to improve symptoms of depression. TMS may be tried when other depression treatments have not been effective. Professional Team Board certified psychiatrists and a professionally trained team of behavioral health professionals provide and deliver quality behavioral health services. 1333 Southview Drive • Bluefield, West Virginia 24701 For more information or to make a referral: Information: 304.325.HOPE (4673) • Inpatient Program (24-hour Crisis Referral Line): 304.325.4681 • Outpatient Program: 304.327.9205 131307-1 Greater Bluefield Chamber of Commerce | 17
