Q. How long have you been teaching? Out of those years, how many years have you been at Jefferson?
A. 26 years. 25 of those years have been at Jefferson, and the other year was at Battle Hill Elementary School.
Q. How did you feel when you heard your name on the loud speaker as the winner?
A. I was shocked!
Q. What is your biggest achievement in teaching so far and what is your biggest goal going forward?
A. My biggest achievement is being named Teacher of the Year. My biggest goal going forward is to teach as many students as I possibly can.
