How long you live is your lifespan. In South Korea, in 2030 the average woman's age might be 90. Scientists thought that the average lifespan could be that long.
South Korea is the first country where most women live past 90. They might also have the biggest jump in lifespans.
France and Japan are close with the average lifespan are close, with the average lifespan of women being 88 years old.
A medical expert named Majid Ezzati is the lead author of this article. He never thought the expected lifespan could go past 90 years. Of the 35 countries were studied, all of their lifespans were expected to grow over the next 15 years. This is a good thing, but it does have some cons. Because of this, hospitals and other healthcare places might have problems. This change will also have to push back the age people can retire, because there is no way other people can receive money after they stop working.
The United States is very unhealthy to other countries and because of this study it might fall even further behind the the countries on the expected lifespan at birth. Another cause of this is that the U.S does not have universal healthcare This makes sure everyone can go to the doctor. Scientists say this is very important in making people healthy and live longer.
The lifespan change in the next 15 years is a lot less in the United States. In fact, it will only see a small gain in the next 20 years.

Now, instead of going into the future, we are going into the past. We all know the famous iPhone 7, but people are now using “dumbphones”. They are named this for a reason; no quick internet, no super software, and they can only send texts and make calls.
Poorer countries want a cheap phone and wealthier countries miss simpler devices. Nokia was a popular phone company, but lost popularity in the last 10 years. However, they are now back in business.
Dumbphones are becoming more popular. Last year 1.5 billion smartphones were sold around the world. However, nearly 400 dumbphones were also sold.
