Hyacinth (Hyacinthus Orientalis)
Hyacinths are highly fragrant, bell-shaped flowers with reflexed petals.
The waxy, densely packed florets bloom in shades of white, peach, orange,
yellow, pink, red, purple, lavender or blue. They are hardy perennials that
actually thrive when chilled through the winter. As much as any other
spring bulbs, hyacinths trumpet the arrival of spring.
