John Martin has 22 years active duty service in the United States Air Force,
followed by 22 years service with the Department of Defense. He is a National Rifle Association member, a NRA Certified Chief Range Safety Officer and
is a NRA Instructor with ratings for Rifle, Pistol, Shotgun, Personal Protection
Inside & Outside The Home, and Reloading – Metallic & Shell. For 9 years
he was a member of the 3rd Air Force European Sporting Clay Team. He is
an Eagle Scout and member of the National Eagle Scout Association; he is
current an Assistant Council Commissioner for Tukabatchee Area Council,
Boy Scouts of America. He is a Life member of the Air Force Association,
graduate of Special Operations Command’s Anti-terrorist Course and the Air
Combat Command’s Ground Combat Course. He is an avid shotgun shooter
and large game hunter.
Keith Mickle has 39 years in law enforcement with the Alabama Department
of Conservation and State Troopers. He was a Firearm Training Instructor with
the Alabama Department of Public Safety Trooper Academy and also served
in Executive Security details. He is a member of the National Rifle Association, a Certified NRA Range Safety Office and Certified NRA Instructor with
ratings for Rifle, Shotgun, Pistol, Personal Protection Inside & Outside the
Home, and Muzzleloading Rifle. He is a Level I Certified Instructor with USA
Archery and the National Field Archery Association. He is an Adult Scout
Volunteer with the Tukabatchee Area Council BSA. He is also an avid hunter.
Chip McEwen has 35+ years working in Human Resource and Financial
Services positions with various private and public sector employers. He has
been involved in shooting sport and hunting activities since his youth. He
is an Eagle Scout, Adult Scout Volunteer with the Tukabatchee Area BSA,
Patron Life Member with the National Rifle Association, NRA Certified Range
Safety Officer, and a NRA Certified Instructor with ratings in Rifle, Shotgun,
Pistol, Family Firearm Safety, Personal Protection Inside & Outside the Home.
He is also a Leave No Trace Instructor with the Center for Outdoor Ethics.

promoting self-reliance in a safe and
professional environment” components
of the OWU mission statement.
As mentioned earlier, John Martin had
provided support to OWU shotgun shooting activities at OWU Classics held in
past years but in 2012 the partnering
of OWU and SAT-C got off to a big
bang!! Pun intended! As evidenced by
these pictures, OWU ladies jumped at
the chance for additional training and
shooting activities available.
In January, 2013, SAT-C brought on a
fourth partner, Chip McEwen, as Director
of Business Development. With this
addition SAT-C now has a well-rounded
staff with diverse experience and certifications in the shooting sports and use
of firearms for hunting and personal
defense to provide professional training
to all their clients, including the ladies
of OWU!!!

Rob Pinkston has over 35+ years working in the private sector. He is an Eagle
Scout, NESA Life Member, and Adult Scout Volunteer with the Tukabatchee
Area Council BSA. He is a Life Member of the National Rifle Association and
is a NRA Certified Range Safety Officer. He is also a Leave No Trace Instructor with the Center for Outdoor Ethics. He is also a Trainer for Tread Lightly.
